I'm a 58-year old man, married and father of two adult children.  When our children were young, I'd read stories to them every morning and evening.  I used voices for story characters and would sing songs to my children, too.  

When our children were attending Hubbell Elementary, I would volunteer as a reader for classes.  I began playing guitar about 10 years ago and learned to play a number of children's songs.  A couple of years ago, I took an adult education class on clowning.  Now, I read and sing as Popek the Clown. 

 

I want to continue pursuing my passion and love of reading and singing with children.  Maybe someday I'll have the opportunity to do that with my grandchildren.
